Description
Organized by Food Engineering magazine, the Food Automation & Manufacturing Conference and Expo (FA&M) is designed to bring food and beverage processors and suppliers together to share information on trends and technologies in manufacturing, automation, sustainability and food safety. FA&M provides a forum of speakers presenting solutions and educational sessions on topics for food and beverage manufacturers.
R.J. Hope, senior physical security analyst and project manager in the Burns & McDonnell Global Security Services Group, will recap the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 23, in the Solutions Theater. He will share the latest details and effects the regulations will have on domestic and foreign companies. The FSMA includes import restrictions and food production standards and establishes guidelines for facility security.
