The K-State College of Engineering's new Smart Grid Lab in Rathbone Hall was opened to the public Tuesday at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Don Gruenbacher, department head of electrical and computer engineering, acknowledged the international engineering firm Burns and McDonnell for its role in funding the lab.
