The new 38,000-square-foot Brownsville Community Health Center replaces an existing, aging clinic. The multi-specialty clinic serves as a primary source of healthcare for an underserved area of the Rio Grande Valley. Specialty clinics include: obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, primary care, behavioral health, dental, radiology, laboratory and a visiting physicians clinic.

The master plan anticipates a campus of three to four additional buildings for training and allied healthcare services.
- A large auditorium space that can serve as a meeting/training room for community classes and meetings or subdivided into smaller spaces for meetings and specialized training

- Drive-up pharmacy
