China Lake Combined Research Facility Phase I & II

The facilities consolidate laboratories, mixing equipment, formulation and curing areas for the China Lake Propulsion Laboratory.
Construction consists of three cast-in-place concrete buildings totaling 31,000 square feet, designed for blast resistive criteria.
Difficulties included construction at a remote site, unidentified utility piping and unidentified hazardous abatement. All of these difficulties were negated through partnering with owner representatives.
