Burns & McDonnell was responsible for engineering designs to retrofit electromechanical distribution feeder relays with solid state relays at numerous Georgia Power distribution substations. The project scope included performing site visits to generate design and construction plans and preparing construction packages. The construction packages included schematic and wiring diagrams, bills of materials, cable schedules, etc. Burns & McDonnell also provided construction support as needed.
