Burns & McDonnell analyzed the Florida Keys Electric Cooperative (FKEC) transmission and distribution systems under both normal and single-contingency operating conditions. Four five-year plans were developed describing recommended improvements to the electric utility system. A long-range plan was also developed to identify the short- and long-term needs of the electric power system.
