Our Corporate Sustainability Efforts

At Burns & McDonnell, we are proud to be leaders in the sustainability movement in Kansas City and around the world. More than one-third of our projects are environmental in nature, from air quality control to water treatment and conservation to energy efficiency audits to efficient power generation.

Our commitment includes projects at our own facilities to demonstrate new technologies and techniques that can save energy, water and money, including pervious pavement, rooftop gardens, solar lighting and photovoltaics, and stormwater retention basins.
