Major hydrologic and stormwater planning models in use by the firm include:

  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
  • HEC-1 Flood Hydrograph Package
  • HEC-HMS Hydrologic Modeling Systems
  • HEC-2 Water Surface Profiles
  • HEC-RAS River Analysis Systems
  • HEC-3 Reservoir System Analysis for Conservation
  • HEC-5 Simulation of Flood Control and Conservation Systems
  • HEC-6 Scour and Deposition in Rivers and Reservoirs
  • HEC-GeoRAS
  • Dambreak
  • Soil Conservation Service
  • TR-20 Computer Program for Project Formulation Hydrology
  • TR-55 Urban Hydrology for Small Watersheds
  • U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
  • SWMM (stormwater management model)
  • XP-SWMM (vendor-enhanced SWMM)
  • Bentley Systems/Haestad Methods
  • PondPack

Especially during the last decade, the municipal management of stormwater has increasingly become regarded as a utility. As this concept has grown, we have kept pace through specialized staff training and practice that combines the unique parameters of stormwater management, cost and financing with our sound base of utility rate development experience.
