What Chrissy enjoys most about working at Burns & McDonnell are the people she works with. But the projects she works on are a close second. She loves the opportunity to be a trailblazer in the industry, whether with process improvements or an entirely new solution. (Just ask her how her team managed to develop an aviation warning system on transmission towers in a national forest.) It’s never the same thing — every project has a different twist, a new technology, a necessary innovation.

I love helping clients figure out solutions, being the conduit to making their lives easier. They know we’re always in the trenches with them to get the job done. We’ll never leave them on their own.

As a kid, Chrissy really wanted a pinball machine. So she created her own first job — mowing lawns. She got the accounts, figured out her rate and earned her way to the pinball machine of her dreams.
