Pedro was one of only 20 students in his high school graduating class back in the Dominican Republic, so his first year at Louisiana State University was a culture shock. He was so mystified by the food court, he once took the (extremely stale) display plate and almost dug in. But it didn’t take him long to build on his love for math, which he still uses every day as an electrical engineer and department manager.
Your work has to be a place where you love what you do and love who you are doing it with. If it’s not that, then you’re not going to be able to sustain it.
Beware: Pedro is a bit of a practical joker. In college, he offered his best friend a package of Oreos, only he’d removed the cream filling and replaced it with mayonnaise.
