A large electrical transmission owner/operator (LTOO) sought to expand automation as a force multiplier.

1898 & Co. deployed a Swimlane security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) software solution to allow the LTOO to maximize staff efficiency, increase scope and coverage for security-related activities, and improve operational efficiencies. The SOAR solution was implemented using a Build and Transfer deployment model.

The SOAR solution also improves another key service level: mean time to resolution — or how long it takes to resolve incidents within the environment. Analysts monitor the program return on investment using a dashboard that displays time savings achieved through automation.

The project also aligns with the client’s financial goals and helps reduce operating expense pressures.
