Firm will provide testimonial on successful use of Primavera products on billion-dollar programs.
WALLINGFORD, Conn. — Burns & McDonnell has been selected by Oracle to provide a client testimonial on the successful utilization of Primavera products on complex, billion-dollar programs.
Representatives from the Burns & McDonnell New England office will discuss the range of project control and information management services that have been used on Central Maine Power's $1.4 billion Maine Power Reliability Program. Under this contract, a team of Burns & McDonnell project managers, engineers, information management specialists, project controls specialists, real estate specialists, environmental specialists, siting and permitting specialists, and community relations specialists have used this Primavera-based suite of project controls software, processes and tools to develop, implement and maintain a project cost, schedule and risk management program.
Burns & McDonnell representatives will discuss the tools the project team created in-house to manage the significant amounts of project information. These tools include NoTouch Reporting™, a proprietary quality assurance/quality control automated report delivery tool that distributes reports and highlights action items to project team members, among numerous other functions, and OneTouchPM®, a proprietary tool used to display project information on a real-time basis through a Google Earth platform.
Both tools have been used to provide clients with effective communication, greater control and less risk in all phases of a project. Both also resolve myriad information management issues and serve as the benchmark for success in demanding, fast-paced project environments.
The webinar will take place on April 28, 2011, at 2 p.m. Eastern. Registration information is available through Oracle's website at http://www.cenews.com/webcasts.
