KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Professional Services Management Journal Resources (PSMJ) has selected Burns & McDonnell as a winner of the Premier Award for Client Satisfaction for the fifth straight year. The Premier Award honors architecture, engineering and construction (A/E/C) firms that provide their clients with top quality communications, impressive performance and cost-effective solutions.
"Burns & McDonnell has had the same mission for more than a century — to make our clients successful," says Greg Graves, chairman and CEO of Burns & McDonnell. "To receive an award for exemplary customer service, based purely on feedback from our clients, provides us with tremendous satisfaction."
Based on an annual independent survey of A/E/C clients by professional consulting organization PSMJ, Burns & McDonnell was among 20 winners selected that produced an average score of "Exceeded Expectations." Clients graded the firms on a variety of categories that included quality of work, budget, and responsiveness.
"Client satisfaction is — and should always be — every A/E/C firm's primary aim," says Frank A. Stasiowski, FAIA, founder and CEO of PSMJ Resources. "These winning firms demonstrate how keen attention to customers' needs results in happier clients. Their passion for client care and commitment to excellent service delivery differentiates them among their peers. These winners serve as examples of the best firms in the industry — with the best practices — and I applaud them for their commitment to understanding the importance of client satisfaction."
In its fifth year, the Premier Award participants included firms from the United States and Canada, many with international offices, like Burns & McDonnell, making this a truly global competition. The firms included architects, engineers, geo-scientists, environmental consultants and others — creating a diverse cross-section of professional services.
