KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Burns & McDonnell chairman and chief executive officer Greg Graves has been elected as the new chair of The University of Kansas Hospital Authority Board.

Graves succeeds former Farmland President Bob Honse as chair. Honse has been chair since 2008 and been on the board since 2000.

"Bob Honse has not only been an outstanding board chair and board member, he has also been my mentor, coach and friend," said Bob Page, president and chief executive officer of The University of Kansas Hospital.

Graves had been vice chair of the board and heads the fundraising effort for the hospital's new Cambridge North patient tower with his wife, Deanna. Graves has been on the board since 2009.

"Greg Graves brings a national and local track record for leadership in business and civic affairs. He will help us further our success in the metropolitan area and across the country," said Page.
