BREA, California — Sameer Shah has joined Burns & McDonnell as the company strengthens its environmental team and expands service offerings in California. As a project manager, Shah brings 12 years of experience in environmental engineering, particularly air quality permitting and compliance, remediation and process optimization.
“Sameer’s breadth of experience will bring value to our clients across the region,” says Joel Farrier, regional Environmental Services Group manager. “Air quality permitting is often a bottleneck for applicable industries due to stringent air quality regulations, and Sameer will help clients navigate solutions.”
Shah’s experience spans multiple industry sectors, including manufacturing, oil and gas, power generation and heavy metals. He will focus on increasing the firm’s presence in the private sector and growing the environmental business in California.
“Sameer has a proven record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and on budget,” says Renita Mollman, vice president for Burns & McDonnell in California. “His highly entrepreneurial spirit and experience is an excellent fit to our culture and will be critical in helping us grow and expand our environmental services in California.”
Shah joins a growing workforce at Burns & McDonnell of more than 400 environmental professionals focused on providing integrated environmental services — from planning and permitting to remediation, demolition and decommissioning — for clients nationwide.
