ATLANTA, Georgia (April 12, 2017) — Burns & McDonnell is expanding its Atlanta-based engineering, design and construction team to support municipal and industrial clients in the region as they address the growing needs for water- and wastewater-related services.

Joining the team as a project manager is Robert Kisuve, who comes to Burns & McDonnell with more than 14 years of consulting and project management experience involving collection, treatment and distribution systems in the U.S. and abroad. The team works in an Atlanta office that also has professionals focused on environmental, aviation, military, government, business technology, manufacturing and industrial facilities, and electrical transmission and distribution projects and services.

Burns & McDonnell’s ability to collaborate and coordinate gives clients access to integrated services that make a difference, up to and including construction and commissioning services.

“When your systems are aging, your demands are growing, your regulations are changing and your revenues are limited, you need someone who can see the big picture — even on the smallest of projects,” Kisuve says. “We can help secure a permit, if that’s what you need. Or we can plan, design, build and commission a new treatment plant and all the systems that go along with it. We can do that because we know your needs, we know your challenges, and we bring integrated teams together to find the solutions that work for you.”

Burns & McDonnell has nearly 100 professionals in the Atlanta office.

“We are excited to be bringing in additional resources to increase our ability to address local needs in Georgia and the Southeast,” says Oko Buckle, general manager of the Atlanta office of Burns & McDonnell. “We are committed to growing our team substantially in Atlanta. Providing clean water is a critical infrastructure need for all communities.”

Kisuve is a registered professional engineer in Georgia, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers. He received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and Master of Science in engineering management from the University of Kansas.
