- Alliance Town Center North Traffic Study
Our work on the Alliance Town Center North development included a traffic impact analysis for the 407-acre, 1.2 million square-foot mixed-use development. The study required close coordination with Hillwood Properties, Peloton Land Solutions, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the City of Fort Worth.
The proposed development consisted of commercial, retail, multifamily and single-family land uses. The study evaluated internal site circulation to promote sustainable site development and evaluated the adjacent area roadway network to support the safe and efficient flow of traffic into and out of the proposed development. The study made recommendations for enhancements to both the internal site circulation transportation network and the adjacent roadway corridor.
The traffic engineering services included the collection of existing traffic volume data using state-of-the-art video counting equipment that reduces field labor and increases safety due to reduced time in the field. Traffic analysis was performed using Synchro software, and microsimulation was performed with SimTraffic software.
