- Automated Remote Tracking Station GPS Operation Support Facility
As the prime A-E contractor, our joint venture team with Jacobs collaborated with the Air Force Space Command Wing to provide a Functional Analysis Concept Development (FACD) and project documentation for a new operations facility in an area limited by the satellite and antenna on site. We developed a planning charrette report covering cost, scope and schedule. We also developed facility requirements to define and justify functional space use as governed by Air Force rules.
We completed an adjacency study and tabulated all facility requirements calculations to provide a functional analysis of space needs. Concept drawings were provided to illustrate facility layout, orthographic or isometric view, site locations within installation boundaries, and site layouts showing civil engineering and utility coordination. All concept plans comply with UFC 4-010-01 and UFC 4-010-02. The report included narrative and drawings for applicable existing site development plans and utilities.
We identified space requirements as authorized in AFI 32-1084 and other pertinent AF guidance and instructions. We also provided calculations of applicable utility load and performed gap analysis to determine if existing infrastructure capacity was sufficient to support applicable utilities, communications and stormwater systems.
