- Noise Study for Pipeline Construction
We performed a noise study for a pipeline construction project, including ambient noise monitoring and acoustical modeling to evaluate acoustical impacts from proposed horizontal directional drilling (HDD) entry and exit locations.
Our work included noise measurements of the existing ambient environment and predicted potential impacts to nearby areas. Impacts were compared to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) guidelines and local regulations. Additionally, we prepared a Resource Report 9 for submittal to FERC.
