Burns & McDonnell is providing engineering services for a five-year, $50 million airport improvement program at the Columbia Regional Airport. Phase 1 of the airport improvement program includes planning and design for the reconstruction of approximately 5,000 feet of Taxiway A and connecting taxiways. Additional improvements will include:

  • Upgrades to the surrounding storm drainage system
  • MITLs
  • Signage and pavement markings, including surface-painted hold signs
