Burns & McDonnell is responsible for the conceptual evaluation of various access flows and security issues at the MasterCard Worldwide facilities in O’Fallon, Mo.
Task One will be to evaluate the ingress/egress road access control gates and tire shredders (tiger teeth) at the O’Fallon facility. This will include an evaluation of vehicle sensors and gate actuators.
Task Two will be to evaluate the entry road berm and bollards in order to determine if it provides an adequate level of vehicular intrusion deterrence at the O’Fallon facility.
Burns & McDonnell provided recommendations to improve the level of security provided for the area protected by the landscaped berm, along with recommendations to improve the access control gates, tire shredders, and vehicle sensors, and for future installations of bollards.
