- Reclaimed Finishes for Walls & Floors
Reclaimed wood materials were used on this Living Building Challenge-certified tenant finish project for the Natural Resources Defense Council's Midwest office in Chicago. The 7,800-square-foot office occupies the 16th floor of the northern wing of the 1929 Civic Opera House Building in The Loop. The unique application of vertical trim work creates an undulating surface that offers visual interest on the interior walls.
The project also achieved LEED Platinum certification.
Reclaimed Materials Used
4,300 feet of reclaimed Douglas fir remilled into wood trim profiles and placed on the walls
This project was coordinated by our Global Reuse Services team while working as an independent company, PlanetReuse.
