- Runway, Apron & Key Infrastructure
The City of Williston has grown consistently along with the North Dakota oil boom, and its airport — built in 1947 — was struggling to keep up. Cost considerations drove city officials in the direction of a new facility rather than expansion. With new runways to accommodate larger aircraft and more gates to allow for expanded carrier service, the new Williston Base International Airport has the capability to handle 350,000 passengers annually. Our team is providing design, bid and construction services for a series of key projects, including runway, apron, access road, perimeter fence, electrical vault, rental car facility and runway visual aid support structures design.
