Ramp Services

We determine the most beneficial placement for and performance of equipment and services to support aircraft, from the terminal gate to remote parking areas. Our focus includes understanding the ways such services interact to meet and exceed on-time expectations from carriers and their customers.

Our experience includes design and procurement of 400-hertz power supply systems that deliver consistent, reliable and safe electricity at the correct voltage and frequency to meet aircraft needs at the gate; properly specified and designed boarding bridges to save time, boost security and enhance comfort for both airlines and passengers; updates to gates to reflect realities of today’s economic and operational conditions while accommodating future needs and expectations; and systems that help aircraft receiving preconditioned air to maintain a consistent temperature inside, all while efficiently saving their own energy for upcoming flights. We also design facilities with a clean and consistent flow of water for aircraft while parked at the gate.

Our runway, taxiway and apron designs are optimized to meet the needs of aircraft while on the ground at airports and provide all services for the aircraft and the traveling public. We develop aircraft parking plans that accommodate Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) passenger access requirements; provide maximum accessibility and flexibility for service vehicles and services including fueling operations; minimize space required around the terminal; and coordinate with modern automated parking systems.
