The National Guard needs efficient readiness centers to support its state and federal missions. We design these centers to reflect the pride, traditions and successes of the Guard. We provide a place for soldiers and airmen to train, operate, plan and support their fellow citizens during peace and war.
Our designs focus on cohesiveness for the community and the soldiers. Readiness centers typically serve as meeting places and community learning spaces to support a common-sense use of taxpayer funding. A collaborative design approach blends these functions with mission requirements. The application of early visualization tools allows stakeholders to walk through a virtual building information model, while charrettes and design reviews keep everyone informed and focused on high quality construction that meets expectations.
We maintain your budget and keep costs in check through energy efficiency audits and sustainable designs that incorporate geothermal heat, daylighting, LED fixtures and more. Our projects also focus on accurate estimating to reduce budget surprises and cost overruns.
Our first military facility work began in 1942 and continues today with numerous current projects for the Guard. Our nationwide resources feature all design disciplines in-house, facilitating coordination, scheduling, fast-track design and quality control. Among the services we provide:
