What inspired you to pursue your career?

My grandfather was an aerospace engineer at NASA, and a lot of my family members were in the heavy civil and industrial construction industry. That exposure spurred my interest in the tangible side of the work — seeing something built that supports people and communities. I also enjoy the business side, so my career has become a blend of engineering, construction and business leadership.

What's the coolest part of your job?

Getting to work with so many amazing people across the globe inspires me daily. We have an extraordinary depth of talent. One of the keys to unlocking growth is continuing to develop and add great leaders. As we do, we can serve more clients, deepen relationships and extend our impact across the country and around the globe.

What is something most people might not know about you?

I was recruited to play college basketball but ended up "passing" on the opportunity. However, being active has always been a hobby and priority for me. From hikes with my wife to golf with my son, I make a point to exercise or work out nearly every day.
