What inspired you to pursue your career?

I knew I wanted to be an electrical engineer when my dad, also an engineer, brought home our first Tandy Color Computer. Inspired by technology and my love of video games, I learned to program, which led to a lifelong fascination with how things work.

How do you and your team make the world a better place?

The need for critical infrastructure in our country has never been greater, and there’s never been a more opportune time to solve our clients’ challenges. Burns & McDonnell is equipped to design and build solutions for our country — from powering the AI revolution, reshoring critical manufacturing to transforming the ways industries meet the demands of our nation’s infrastructure.

What excites you most when you look at the future of our company?

It’s the quality of our people and the vision of our leadership. Our mission has never resonated more than it does now, and I am excited to be part of the big impacts we will have on our communities worldwide.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I grew up in a family of 10 in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Having lost my father at a young age, my mom raised us with little money and support — she was a true hero. She made sure we bonded around the things that matter, one another. Thanks to her, we have that closeness to this day.

What do you do in your free time?

I love being a dad. Whatever free time I have, I prioritize spending it with my family.
