Kansas City, Missouri — 1898 & Co., part of Burns & McDonnell, has extended its partnership with OSIsoft LLC, a leader in operational intelligence, to offer industry-leading monitored commissioning services to government, commercial and institutional customers.

“With programs like the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP), Executive Order 13834 and the Energy Independence Security Act, there is an increased focus on efficiency and sustainability programs to meet energy reduction goals,” says Richard Wendland, project manager with 1898 & Co. “With OSIsoft’s data infrastructure, we’re able to build operational intelligence based on analytics to make better project decisions and help meet aggressive energy reduction goals.”

Under the extended agreement, Burns & McDonnell and 1898 & Co. will integrate OSIsoft's PI System with its existing commissioning services to optimize building processes and maximize energy savings.

“Burns & McDonnell is uniquely qualified to deliver continuous commissioning services in partnership with OSIsoft for government clients,” says David Meyers, commissioning director at Burns & McDonnell. “Our team has the federal cybersecurity experience and ongoing IDIQ contracts with the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, the Department of State, and other military and federal civilian agencies.”
