Burns & McDonnell India Announces New Leadership

MUMBAI, India — Burns & McDonnell India, a full-service engineering, architecture, construction, environmental and consulting solutions firm, has named Anjan Khandelwal as chief financial officer (CFO) and Parul Gopal as chief administrative officer (CAO). Khandelwal has extensive experience in finance, accounting, tax and business administration, while Gopal has played an integral role in recruiting and retaining top talent and fostering a culture that values its employees.

Since joining the firm in 2016, Khandelwal has made significant changes to the company’s finance department, growing the team and taking a diversified approach to operations. Overall, Burns & McDonnell India has grown from 229 in 2013 to 1,263 in 2022. In addition to earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Khandelwal is a chartered accountant and company secretary. He is also part of the Guam Board of Accountancy and is a certified public accountant. With over 20 years in the finance industry, Khandelwal will oversee the information technology and finance groups as CFO.

Parul Gopal, Burns & McDonnell

Gopal has quickly become a pivotal leader with over 17 years of experience that has helped the company during its time of growth. With an MBA focused in business and human resource management from Chetana's Institute of Management and Research, Gopal will continue to provide executive-level leadership and guidance to the firm’s human resources group. In her new role as CAO, Gopal will oversee the human resources, marketing and administrative groups.
