OMAHA, Nebraska — Burns & McDonnell, a 100% employee-owned engineering, architecture, construction and consulting firm, has relocated its Omaha office to a new, larger space to accommodate continued growth and boost serving clients throughout Nebraska and the surrounding region.

The new office, at 1010 N. 102nd St. Omaha, NE 68114, reflects the firm’s projected 25% growth by 2027. The new location provides room for that anticipated growth while enhancing the overall experience for employee-owners and clients alike.

“Burns & McDonnell has proudly served Omaha for more than 100 years,” says Scott Newland, senior vice president and infrastructure market leader for Burns & McDonnell. “This move reflects our ongoing investment in our people, our clients and the communities we serve. The new space is designed to reflect the Burns & McDonnell brand and culture and to foster connection, creativity and collaboration.”

The Omaha team has grown steadily in recent years, driven by increasing demand for engineering, construction and environmental services in sectors such as power delivery, transportation, water and manufacturing. The central location also positions the team closer to key clients while opening new recruiting opportunities to attract top regional talent.

“Our success is built on relationships,” says Michelle Winkelmann, transportation section manager. “This new space reinforces our commitment to Omaha and the Midwest as we continue to partner with clients to design and build the critical infrastructure that powers our communities.”

Burns & McDonnell has been part of the Omaha community for more than a century, proudly serving clients since 1918. From infrastructure that powers neighborhoods to projects that protect natural resources, the firm’s work has helped shape the region’s growth and resiliency. The new office reinforces that long-standing commitment to Omaha while positioning the team for continued innovation, collaboration and community partnership for decades to come.

“Omaha is a key market for our firm,” says Patrick Finigan, environmental project manager. “This move positions us to continue building strong partnerships, supporting infrastructure and energy projects, and creating new opportunities for collaboration throughout Nebraska and beyond.”
