STEM Initiatives
Imagine a massive room where STEM students are celebrated with air horns and confetti. Or where hundreds of teachers are testing an interactive way to teach a concept previously out of reach. We create those big events and one-of-a-kind programs, while also serving up practical, everyday resources to help educators inspire in imaginative ways.
Project Lead The Way (PLTW) has transformed the STEM learning experience for millions of students and their teachers. What better foundation for an investment in the future? In addition to participating in our national and international programs, our employee-owners are out there spreading the STEM word in other empowering ways. In one corner of the world, a group of our engineers talked shop at a local middle school before leading a STEM activity. Elsewhere, a team assembled STEM kits for a mobile STEM learning program. And young female students saw a glimpse of their future when they shadowed some of our women engineers as part of a Girls Inc. program.
