KANSAS CITY, Missouri ― The Healthcare Architecture team at Burns & McDonnell is proud to welcome Nan Knecht. Knecht spent nearly 25 years on the customer side, working for a healthcare system in the Kansas City region. She worked in many different capacities ranging from graphic artist to brand manager while with the healthcare system, and most recently as regional director for consumer experience.

“Nan brings a unique perspective to the team as someone who not only knows the challenges and needs of healthcare providers, but also how to provide top facilities so staff can do their jobs and patients can feel the most comfortable during their visits,” says Joel Jacobsen, architectural director at Burns & McDonnell.

Knecht now leads a team of architects, designers and engineers that has designed top-tier facilities, including the Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Building at the University of Missouri, as well as the university’s Children’s Hospital now under construction. Knecht looks forward to using her insider healthcare knowledge to grow the team and broaden its portfolio.
