Hydro One Selects Burns & McDonnell for Multiyear Contract to Optimize Program Management Services

TORONTO (May 12, 2016) — Burns & McDonnell was recently awarded a contract from Hydro One to provide construction program management services during the next five to seven years. Burns & McDonnell, a professional engineering, procurement and construction management services firm, will focus on enhancing Hydro One’s construction management tools and processes required to effectively oversee investments to the transmission grid throughout the province.

The program management will consist of a comprehensive suite of services, including project controls, scheduling, budgeting, estimating and quality assurance. More efficient planning and project management tools will improve the project delivery and ultimately benefit all Ontario ratepayers.
