Greg Fischer, Paul Westerberg Bring Decades of Experience to Team

KANSAS CITY, Missouri — Burns & McDonnell has announced the addition of two senior construction leaders, reinforcing the firm’s continued investment in its construction capabilities amid global market growth.

Greg Fischer joins the firm to lead construction for infrastructure markets including environmental, transportation and water. Paul Westerberg will oversee EPC operations across energy markets, including expansion in liquefied natural gas (LNG), mining and critical minerals. Both bring decades of experience to strengthen execution, support growth and enhance client delivery.

Fischer will oversee EPC construction for the firm’s infrastructure markets, focusing on advancing execution, growth and client delivery across critical infrastructure sectors.

With more than 35 years of leadership experience, Fischer has led complex projects across water, wastewater, transportation and mining industries. Most recently, he managed a large portfolio of complex infrastructure projects and built a strong track record in alternative delivery, strategic partnerships and large-scale team leadership.

Westerberg will focus on scaling project delivery and supporting clients on complex, large-scale energy and resource projects. With more than 25 years of global EPC experience, he brings a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering projects successfully.

Most recently, Westerberg led global teams across renewables, power, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors. Known for his strategic mindset and data-driven approach, he excels at aligning teams and insights to improve performance.
