Project

Princeton Road Station

We are the engineer-procure-construct (EPC) contractor for the addition of dual-fuel generation capacity at Princeton Road Station, increasing long-term system reliability and strengthening the Nebraska Public Power District’s asset profile. The project pairs two Siemens F-class combustion turbines with 12 Wärtsilä reciprocating engines to deliver 694 megawatts (MW) of dual-fuel generation built for speed and flexibility.

The station will complement NPPD's diverse generation mix and existing generation fleet. When complete, the station will be capable of serving approximately 318,000 homes.

Electricity demand is growing across Nebraska, driven largely by agriculture-adjacent industries that are looking to build foundational operations in the state. Existing companies across the state are also looking to expand.

Construction began in 2026, with an estimated three-year project timeline.
