What’s something most people don’t know about you?
For the first five years of my career here, I would drive to Iowa City, Iowa, once a month to visit my wife, who was getting her doctorate at the University of Iowa.
What inspired you to pursue your career?
I always had a passion for science and math. Civil engineering is a field where it’s easy to visualize the project you’re working on, and I found that appealing.
How do you and your team make the world a better place?
We help our clients solve complex problems, to improve their roadway networks and to make their communities safer
What excites you most when you look at the future of infrastructure?
With the passing of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the industry is getting a generational bill with funding to help our clients. I'm also really excited about digital deliverables and streamlining the process of design to construction.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want with you?
A giant tarp to make shelter, a fishing pole to catch food, and access to Spotify.
