HOUSTON — Burns & McDonnell, a 100% employee-owned engineering, architecture and construction firm, is proud to announce the appointment of Noe Saenz to leader of its program management group in Houston. Burns & McDonnell has established itself as a reliable partner for power utilities, a standing strengthened by more than two decades of providing integrated program management solutions for extensive and intricate projects that place a premium on safety, quality, efficiency and schedule.

Saenz has a deep understanding of complex programs and extensive experience in the management of comprehensive services throughout the project life cycle. He has more than 25 years of project and program experience in the power, oil, gas, chemicals and manufacturing sectors. He recently was appointed to the executive board of the Construction Industry Institute (CII), the industry consortium based at the University of Texas at Austin that focuses on enhancing the business effectiveness and sustainability of the capital facility life cycle through research, training, related initiatives and industry alliances.

“I am thrilled to lead the program management team here in Houston,” says Saenz, program manager. “This expansion will further support our utility clients as they navigate the complexities of large-scale capital projects, enabling them to realize successful capital construction programs and expand/improve their portfolios.”

Over the last 20 years, Burns & McDonnell has worked with over 100 utilities, co-ops and energy clients across Texas, completing over 4,700 projects and more than 4 million project hours for the region’s top utility providers.

“Whether it's handling large, complex initiatives or executing numerous interconnected projects, program management services play a vital role in our overall business,” says Woody McOmber, vice president in the firm’s Transmission & Distribution Group in Houston. “Empowered by Noe’s leadership, I am confident in the team’s ability to continue our streak of success in the Gulf Coast region with our utility clients.”
