Schofield Generating Station

Hawaiian Electric Co. (HECO) is a regulated electric public utility engaged in the production, purchase, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity on the island of Oahu.

HECO hired Burns & McDonnell to install a new, nominal 50-megawatt (MW) power plant facility and a new 46-kV switchyard on Schofield Army Barracks, Wahiawa, Hawaii.
