What inspired you to pursue your career?

My dad is self-made and had to start from scratch as his family were refugees in India. He pursued finance and is my hero. He never let me feel that, as a girl, I couldn’t do anything that boys can do. He always encouraged me to reach for the stars and has taught me to support our communities.

How do you and your team make the world a better place?

Our projects build critical infrastructure, helping people with basic needs. That humbles me. Our teams volunteer their own personal time to bring our communities closer and make them stronger. It warms my heart when people pool their resources and use brainstorming to solve problems and find solutions.

What’s the coolest part of your job?

I get to know various colleagues and clients from different backgrounds and regions and see firsthand how diverse we are in what we do, how we think, and who we impact in this world.

What excites you most when you look at the future of infrastructure?

The most exciting part to me right now is the entire decarbonization industry. We are innovative and forward thinkers — and we are ready to take this on.

What superpower would you choose and why?

I would choose speed as my superpower. I want to be able to be in multiple places and that would allow me to do so and cover my love for travel without the time it takes to fly.
