Telecommunications

Communications and automation upgrades improve your operations and boost reliability for your customers. But managing the planning, design, implementation, integration, in-servicing and maintenance of your telecommunications technology is a tall order. As the telecom industry and supported applications evolve — rapidly — you need a partner with a current understanding of the latest technologies to be used in your systems.

We can help you engineer, procure and construct these systems by connecting you to people with the knowledge and background to execute effectively and efficiently. Our team has specialized experience developing road maps and completing capital initiatives across a range of industries, with particular knowhow in the electric utility industry and with mission-critical networks.
We have:

  • Designed more than 500 wireless tower sites across the U.S.
  • Deployed more than 25,000 miles of fiber optic cable systems
  • Upgraded network devices at more than 3,000 sites
  • Performed SCADA upgrades at more than 1,200 sites
  • Upgraded infrastructure at more than 750 sites

Complete Project Delivery Capabilities

As a full-service engineering and construction firm, we deliver our projects via your preferred vehicles, whether engineer-procure-construct (EPC)/design-build, design-bid-build, construction management, program management or owner’s engineer. We also offer consultation and studies that leverage our experience to help you design a program that helps you efficiently and effectively use your physical and capital assets to meet your strategic and operational goals. We also can provide project development assistance, helping with the technical planning, scoping and estimating of your telecommunications projects. From the earliest stages through detailed design, procurement, construction and implementation, we have professionals with experience to guide your decisions.

Operations & Maintenance for Telecommunications

After your project is constructed and commissioned, you want to be sure your system runs smoothly out of the gate. We can help you plan staffing requirements and provide technical training on the system, customized to your unique network. Furthermore, we can assist with initial break-fix and troubleshooting situations and provide network monitoring and on-call technical support for your system, even if just for an early temporary period. Long-term, we can provide a second set of eyes and an additional support level if your operations staff requires augmentation and/or additional experience.

Additional Services for Telecommunications Projects
