Section 316

Section 316 of the Clean Water Act has changed the way your plant manages its water intake and discharge. Our team has extensive experience providing customized solutions to 316(a) and 316(b) challenges, helping your facilities achieve compliance with cost-effective solutions.

Section 316(a)

Our teams have the scientific experience to determine if thermal discharges from your plant comply with state water quality standards. We can help you justify a variance if necessary, and keep your plant online.

Section 316(b)

If your cooling water intake requires adjustment to comply with the Clean Water Act, we can help you implement the best technology available and address impingement and entrainment concerns. Our team includes the environmental and facility specialists who can give you a seamless, immediate solution based on your individual plant’s unique issues. Our customized approach focuses on delivering cost-effective compliance solutions.
