Understanding the intricate design and construction requirements of manufacturing and industrial facilities is what we do. Our team brings a wealth of experience to all phases of the delivery process, including pre-capital planning, design and construction to a wide range of industries, including aerospace and space, automated distribution and fulfillment, consumer products, durable goods, food and beverage, and life sciences and technology. We also provide services in the industrial realm involving industrial power, water, wastewater, renewables and distributed energy resources.
Our specialists will collaborate closely with you to bring your facility online efficiently and safely. We believe in integrating our resources from the early design stages so that there is a seamless transition from design to construction, and ultimately, to a fully operational facility. From early on, our construction specialists work with the design team to provide valuable insights that influence conceptual planning, site layout, construction interfaces and services such as water, power and fire protection.
With our multidisciplinary staff, we offer comprehensive services tailored to industrial work and all its associated systems, including material fabrication, water distribution, wastewater treatment, electrical power generation and grid interconnection. Whether you need assistance with refining food, durable goods, or consumer product manufacturing lines — from ingredient and materials handling to packaging and shipping — we have the experience to support your needs.
Our difference is in our complete service offerings.
Planning, Design & Construction
- Strategic project planning. Our project delivery strategy incorporates the innovative front-end planning (FEP) practices of the Construction Industry Institute (CII) that help identify potential risks and the resources needed to successfully execute a project.
- Creative engineering solutions. We specialize in providing detailed design and construction services that seamlessly integrate site selection, design layouts, equipment and enhanced processing.
- Construction delivery. Utilizing design-build and engineer-procure-construct (EPC) delivery, we safely provide integrated delivery solutions that meet a variety of requirements.
- Procurement management. Our team excels in bid analysis, equipment purchasing, expediting and precise tracking of equipment deliveries.
- Streamlined package development. We create thorough bid packages and specifications for competitive bidding of equipment and construction subcontracts, facilitating a smooth and efficient bidding process.
Project Management
- Cost management. Our estimators leverage extensive experience and capabilities to develop comprehensive estimates using cutting-edge software and internal cost databases, collaborating with subcontractors for detailed labor and productivity estimates.
- Innovative project scheduling. As an integral part of all integrated project teams, our in-house schedulers develop detailed schedules using advanced scheduling software like Oracle Primavera and Microsoft Project to optimize project timelines.
- Project efficiency. Our comprehensive project management package integrates schedule, cost and resource data for optimal project performance. By strategically managing these factors and other key performance indicators, we keep projects on course.
Facility Operations
- Automation and robotics. We specialize in integrating robotics, automation processes, and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) into production lines, along with guiding you in implementing other smart manufacturing principles and technologies to boost flexibility and adaptability in your operations.
- Operational efficiency. We help optimize facilities to maximize return on investment. Our Lean Six Sigma process optimization measures can assist in implementing streamlined processes that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Process optimization. Leveraging our deep industry knowledge, our team excels at developing efficient plant operations, minimizing downtime and prioritizing compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Quality assurance. Our quality control (QC) program is designed to see to it, through team and independent reviews, that there is top-notch project performance guided by a structured series of QC steps.
- Safety measures. We see to it that food and employee safety, sustainability and other standards are adhered to based on local, state and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices. Conducting environmental studies, securing proper permitting, and adhering to compliance criteria are all crucial factors that contribute to operating facilities safely.
- Value-added services. These range from process reviews, studies and technical evaluation/troubleshooting to maintenance planning, support and execution, outage planning, scheduling and coordination, and pre-commissioning, and commissioning support.
